Mise en Place
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper, then grease and flour sides.
- Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and baking powder together. Combine well.
- Whisk together the eggs, oil and milk together. Set aside.
Procedure
- Combine flour mixture with salt and sugar.
- Add in egg mixture with salt and sugar.
- Add boiling water until well incorporated.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake.
Whipped Ganache Frosting
Ingredients
3⁄4 cup All Purpose Cream
1 1⁄2 cup Dark Compound Chocolate
Mise en Place
- Chop chocolate to small pieces.
- Prepare bain marie.
- Scald cream over a bain marie and set aside.
Procedure
- Melt chocolate over a bain marie, then pour scalded cream.
- Mix together until smooth and velvety.
- Leave in the chiller for about 2 hours.
- Whip until spreadable in consistency.
